Makio Hasuike is a Japanese designer, graduated at the University of Arts of Tokyo in 1962. He has been living and working in Italy since 1964. In 1968 he established his design studio in Milan. His business has been increasing since then, becoming famous in the Italian market and in the international one as well and gaining several prizes and acknowledgements from institutions and permanent exhibitions of many museums all over the world.
Up to the present Makio Hasuike & Co has been providing consultancy services to several international companies of different sectors, from appliances and electronics, to furnishings, household items and tableware.

Makio Hasuike’s interest for the product design in all the steps concerned, from the concept to the development of the full potentiality of a project and related brand, has driven him to look for a new testing ground for his creativity: in 1982 he established the MH Way company making at once a great success thanks to an effective tool such as the product design.
